embers of the SCA attempt to recreate and enjoy firsthand the experience of the medieval combatant. They compete in organized competitions with a variety of weapons, with an emphasis on the pageantry of the medieval tournament, as well as full-scale battles. All combatants are dedicated to a high sense of personal honor and the pursuit of the ideal of chivalry as exemplified in the medieval knight of story and myth.

- Equestrian Activities, and
- Youth Combat
Members of our Shire who participate in armored combat regularly gather for fighter practice. Fighter practice is usually held, weather permitting, at 2 pm at Kees Park, Highway 28 East, Pineville, LA 71360.
